Tonight the sixth graders completed their elementary education through the much anticipated Continuation Ceremony. Of course both schools had their ceremonies the same night and same time so consequently, I only got to see the half of each. Both events, however, warmed my heart because of the number of teachers in attendance, representing the different levels of the students' journey through grade school. There is a genuine bond between teachers and their students that doesn't fade away after they are no longer in their classroom. We all like to celebrate the growth of a child that we witnessed and nurtured. Congratulations sixth graders!
