A Man of No Importance

We attended our last Arvada Center performance of the season tonight - A Man of No Importance. It started off a little slow but that could have just been me - a dark theatre on a Friday night tends to make me doze. However, this musical featured a live Irish band called Colcannon and they were very good. Also, as the production went on, the story got more interesting. It could have ended very badly but I was relieved....and sobbed....because the story had such a beautiful ending. The musical reminded  us "to love who we love" and be accepting of others- a message that we all need often. As always, the actors were wonderful, especially Kevin Loreque who played the main character, Alfie. Tonight was a wonderful way to end the theatre season!
