It happens every year. As we are winding down for summer vacation and have all the end of year parties for my News kids and library assistants, I realize how much I get attached to these students. Even though I'll see most of them in a couple months, it is always a bittersweet to say goodbye to the sixth graders moving on. Next week are the Continuation ceremonies for my schools and I usually need a tissue handy when I attend. It is always wonderful to see how much students grow, physically, emotionally, and academically throughout their years in elementary school. You can't help but be proud of each and every one of them!
