This morning we had a Senior Breakfast at one of my schools. My friend and I started this tradition seven years ago when our sons were graduating. Every year senior high school students who attended this elementary school get invited to the breakfast where they can revisit their grade school days and reconnect with their former teachers. All I can say is that I'm glad that they wore nametags because they sure changed between grade school and high school! It was fun to see how they turned out and where they are headed. Of course I always have to tease them about an overdue library book just to see that panic one last time.......
