The dogs and I made the trip to Fort Morgan today. It is always nice to come home and the dogs seem to like "grandma's" house and the big backyard. Between Debby and mom's quilting supplies they were able to find almost everything I needed to start hand quilting. I received some great instruction and tips - they make it look so easy! One obstacle that I encountered was that I had no idea the needle would be so little- I'm going to have to get some stronger cheater glasses! I also now understand the real purpose of a quilting group. Once you get the stitching down, it is really easy to have a conversation while doing it and we got a lot of visiting done tonight. Alas...It looks like I have adopted a new hobby....
