I was interviewed by a former student today who is now a senior in high school. She needed to interview a teacher librarian for her class and is planning on pursuing a career as an educator. It was fun to see her enthusiasm but every once in awhile I saw glimpses of the little shy girl checking out books in elementary school not so long ago. Her enthusiasm was contagious and as she asked me questions, I was reminded how much I love my job!
