No snow day tomorrow and it is unusual for me to say, "good!" We are so close to the end of this school year, we don't have time for a snow day! It will be hard enough to squeeze in everything that needs to happen before the students walk out the door for summer break! Every year it seems like the roller coaster I'm on reaches the heighest point at spring break and the day we come back I start careening toward the bottom! I hate roller coasters...they scare me. Anyhoo, on the positive side, there are many fun events that happen the last two months of school. Also it is wonderful to take a moment to reflect on all you have accomplished throughout the year and the growth students have made- academically and socially. My first group of students that I taught as a Teacher Librarian are graduating from high school this spring which is mind boggling! It is terrific to see what wonderful young men and women they have become.....one of the perks of being involved in the education profession!
