Today is my dad's birthday but unfortunately he hasn't been with us for quite some time now. Coincidentally, I traveled to Fort Morgan today to visit with my niece/goddaughter Erin who was on a short work visit and to see my sister Barb who is visiting from Italy- and of course my mom and sister Debby who live in Fort Morgan. We thought of dad when we were eating our spaghetti and meatballs with rhubarb pie for dessert! Hopefully he was there in spirit. Currently, I am really missing my air conditioned house but maybe I'll sweat off that pie during the night! If not, I know I will when we start doing the jobs my mom has lined up for us tomorrow!
