This last weekend I was fortunate to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday with my family. Because she loves the mountains, we decided to think outside of the box and rent a beautiful lodge just outside of Estes Park for our large crowd. Five out of her seven children were able to come, along with eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as assorted spouses. It was a very fun time with lots of food, spirited card games, shopping and even a walk or two. We even had a private viewing of some neighborhood elk who decided to visit our driveway a few times! Definitely a memorable event for such a special and wonderful person. Happy Birthday mom!
